Klaudia Domanska

November 2013

This is the first video with my student Klaudia. She was 6 at the time and have only been taking my piano lessons for three-and-a-half months.

Klaudia is very artistic and talented child. She loves singing and all the pieces we are learning Klaudia likes learning to sing first before we can actually start playing it. She loves drawing very much as well, and it is easy to tell by the look of her beautiful piano :-)

To be honest it wasn't easy to find a "point of touch" with her - she was sometimes too playful and a little bit hard on concentration. But I am very happy and so proud of her now as she has lately begun making a significant progress. I think she is getting fascinated by what she can actually do. It is an ongoing process and the more Klaudia plays the more she realises how much she loves it. I hope it will make her to practise even more and do her home works even better in a future. And then she will obviously be showing even better and well deserved results.

To the time Klaudia's learned quite a few tunes and she is presenting two of them for your attention.

April 2015

Congratulations to my creative and very special pupil Klaudia on her success at her first ever exam! Well done my dear - passing with distinction, total of 130 points! Continue with good and hard work! We have filmed a few video episodes with Klaudia when she played some pieces that we've learned. First video (above left) represents the non-exam ones which she has chosen. The one on the right contains three exam pieces. She is a bit more relaxed here compared to exam hence there are a couple of imperfections but still well played! And once again - well done Klaudia - keep it up with good work!

October 2015

Klaudia has been excessively emotional at her Grade 2 exam which prevented from good performance but this is why I always say that my students must be ready for the whole 120% - then the emotions will only eat an extra 20%.
Klaudia passed her Grade 2 exam with merits and I can't say that I'm very happy with this result. She is capable of so much more! She picks up fast, is talented and creative, understands and likes music. It's a shame she lacks some discipline! Thorough and productive practicing - this is where Klaudia lets herself down. Sometimes I can feel that homework was done just to tick the box...
You gotta fix this Klaudia! And then - you'll fly through Grade 3 on your wings
!
